Out of the box, the unit comes with two Magnesium Mineralized Water cartridges, making it ready to go for approximately eight weeks before needing a refill. The BPA-free jug fits conveniently in most refrigerator doors, and its lid has a manual flip design that lets you pour water without splashing.
